BUNDY SELMER TRUMPET

The Bundy is a legendary student horn. Selmer took over the George Bundy Trumpet in 63'. They play easy and have a great tone. Not as tough as an Olds Ambassador, the Bundy is a horn you can count on.. the valves are fast. And like the Ambassador, these old standard student trumpets share a group of advanced dedicated players that will play nothing else. They were the best dollar for dollar buy in the trumpet industry up until a few years ago when the name was sold off to a Chinese Brand. KING CLEVELAND SUPERIOR TRUMPET

These old horns really produce the sound, They're free blowing and responsive. The tone is rich, bright, yet mellow. The valves design is top notch. The "Superior" is the predecessor to the King 600. Built by H.N White, this label vanished in 64. The "Cleveland" Label lived on to 74'. This model is a 61', in very good shape. The Cleveland brand was a starting point label for King Band Instruments, which was owned by H.N. White. It was really just like the king, minus a few frills like nickel tubing inserts. Nothing that would diminish the sound or playability. These old models just flat out play and sound better than the newer ones, which are built by UMI Steinway.

YAMAHA TRUMPET YTR 2320

This durable instrument has a professional style bell and bore size that makes this the ideal model for students. KING 601 TRUMPET

The King 601 is like the 600 except, except for the additional 1rst slide ring. The king brand is part of the UMI/ Steinway family now. But these horns produce a warm mellow sound. They blow open and free... very responsive. The valves have always been one of their strong points. The skin thickness is a little lighter than the others major brands... which gives it a tad more brilliance, which I love. The finishes have always held up well..... they're are simply beautiful.  This model is for sale here .

THE OLDS AMBASSADOR TRUMPET (LOS ANGELES MODEL)

This a Beautiful Olds Ambassador built in 1951 at the Los Angeles factory.These horn produce a big beautiful tone which upstages the Fullerton built Ambassador horns. The Ambassadors have the best valve design in the industry. Fast as lightning! The company moved from LA to Fullerton Ca. in 54'. The Ambassadors are highly sought after for the tank like toughness. The horns produce a dark, rich tone which is great for jazz work. These horns will out perform and out last most modern horns built today,  especially this model. The LA models project better and are more responsive than the latter ones. 

BLESSING SCHOLASTIC TRUMPET

 The Blessing co. has been around since 1906. No wonder... they're solid horns that deliver great warm tones. These trumpets can blow- up in a hurry.... very responsive. Band directors like these for their light, excellent working valves. E.K. Blessing was known for his superb valve design.  The "scholastic" is their student model. GETZEN 300 SERIES TRUMPET

The Getzen 300 Series trumpet is the entry point for the old venerable company. But don't let that dismay you, these horns can take you a long way. These horns perform very well and are sought after by band directors throughout the country. They're free blowing with above average tone.
