The Conn Victor is considered to be a pro model horn. Although the Constellation was the "high end" model from Conn at the time, many pros think the Victor is equal to the Constellation. The late Victor's did not have a coprion lead pipe or bell ('72 to early 80's). They had brass, silver plated or chromed finishes. These were Abilene built instruments and were very individualistic due to lack of quality control at Conn at the time. Many swear that some of their best "players' also came out of this era. I can certainly second that after blowing some notes on this one. Buy here

BOSTON MUSIC INSTRUMENT MANUFACTORY TROMBONE
This vintage instrument was built in 1898 by the Boston Music Instrument Manufact'y Company. This model is a prototype of the modern slide trombone. This concern was started back in 1870 and lasted until 1919. They were at the forefront of brass instrument making. This particular instrument is in good shape. The finish has tarnished some, obviously. There are a few dings on the bell and the main tube. The slide is ding free. The inner slide has some slight plate loss. This trombone has a nickel finish. It may or may not have a silver plated bell. The instruments plays fine. The serial number is 14657. Has a case and mouthpiece. This would be a nice edition for a museum. Buy it here .

BUNDY SELMER TRUMPET
The Bundy is a legendary student horn. Selmer took over the George Bundy Trumpet in 63'. They play easy and have a great tone. Not as tough as an Olds Ambassador, the Bundy is a horn you can count on.. the valves are fast. And like the Ambassador, these old standard student trumpets share a group of advanced dedicated players that will play nothing else. They were the best dollar for dollar buy in the trumpet industry up until a few years ago when the name was sold off to a Chinese Brand. This is a fine example of a mid 60's Bundy..... buy it here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280530515890&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_500wt_940

KING CLEVELAND SUPERIOR TRUMPET
These old horns really produce the sound, They're free blowing and responsive. The tone is rich, bright, yet mellow. The valves design is top notch. The "Superior" is the predecessor to the King 600. Built by H.N White, this label vanished in 64. The "Cleveland" Label lived on to 74'. This model is a 61', in very good shape. The Cleveland brand was a starting point label for King Band Instruments, which was owned by H.N. White. It was really just like the king, minus a few frills like nickel tubing inserts. Nothing that would diminish the sound or playability. These old models just flat out play and sound better than the newer ones, which are built by UMI Steinway.
